She has gotten quite chunky. Have you seen Tanya Tucker lately?

I actually have this CD - drove my family crazy playing it all the time on a road trip!
Love her voice!

Jonny, BTW, last time I checked just before leaving work, Carrie's JTTW is still sitting at #21 on the Mediabase radio airplay charts. Kenny Chesney has just released his new album and it's #1 already with over 500,000 in sales the first week. Carrie is going to have some stiff competition and unless Kenny's album has a steep drop-off the 2nd week, there's no way Carrie could debut #1 without a far better than expected sales week. If she debuts in the top 5, I think that will be a very good achievement for her.

I'm fascinated by George Jones--he has so much talent, but his life has been a total trainwreck at times. I think he's on the right track now, though.
There was a great special about him on the Biography Channel or E! a couple of years ago--worth watching if you find it.

The fact you used the words stiff and Chesney in the same sentence makes me giggle.
To: silent_jonny
Oh lord, now a Soprano is on a country music show.
Nice of him to speak to the troops though

Some people look down on me, but I don't give a rip
I'll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
'cause I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey ya'll' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
