Someone once told me that "presentation is more than half the battle". There's something about dressing demurely and licking sauce off of balls that is very appealing.
*fingering another asparagus stalk*
Are you ready for your grinder?

I love asparagus. Firm stalks, tender tips. Prepared properly, they're delicious. What's not to like?

Not when you are tring to shoot with a bunch of guys though.
As for how much rain... It is supposed to be snowing in Dallas and rain moving up from Austin. Both "may" stop short of either side of Waco leaving that area dry, but cold.
That I can handle with no problem. It'd be shooting in sleet the whole day plus a total of 400 miles on Texas roads with Texas non-slippery road skills drivers that would knock the "This-Sucks-O-Meter" off its scales.

Why don't you sit over there on that bar stool? That way, everything will be within reach.
*walking over to warming drawer*
I hope you like hot buns.

Well, let's hope for dry weather then.
Are you going stag or is this a family event?

Texas non-slippery road skills driversMan, ain't you got that right. Some folks here in DFW are downright dumb about that. I mean, I'm from Phoenix and I got more sense than to just fly along...

Um, nothing, nothing at all. It's just a bit thin, and kinda limp when cooked. I like firm, perky ones.
ohh no, what have I done?Yeah, those buns'll be great!

Stag. It's a family event, but not for a two year old. We were gonna give Ana another five years before getting her into the sport. I think part of it is apprehendion on Zon's part too. She hasn't picked up a firearm in a while.
As for Texas drivers, it would have been funny the last time we had ice if it wasn't for the fact that I was on the same roads with some of those knotheads. Amazing what walks around upright some times...

*amused glance*
I know what you mean. Limp stalks make for a disappointing experience.
*walking to the counter*
Here you go. Careful, now, they're a little overfilled. Oh, wait, you like them firm, too.
