It depends on the class. If students work hard then they will do well. If they slack off, then they usually don't. I don't really know how many A's on average that I have given.
Besides - I don't give A's. The students earn them. ;-)

Whens the next chapter coming out?

This semester, I taught a tax class. Next semester, I'm going back to teaching a lower-level accounting class.

Thanks. I will try to be patient with you.
I appreciate effort, and I truly believe that it is worth it. Language is what distinguishes us from the animals, and makes us more than we are.
Carelessness with it, or deliberate misuse, is very stressful to me. I try to be careful myself, and ask forgiveness for my many transgressions.

Once in awhile, I will have some odd craving for some strange reason.
Digging through the family history reveals where some weird cravings came from.
(There is so far no explanation for the origin of the peanut butter addiction.)

I see. They make their grade the old fashion way - they earn it.
Likewise, I make my living the old fashion way - I work for it. And I mean, real work.
Maybe that is why I never was college material. I expected them teacher to give me a good grade. I never thought I had to earn it.
(this stupid keyboard is driving me crazy! All of a sudden 2-3 key continually get stuck forcing many typos). Arghhh arghhh hah ha!)

The next chapter has already been written, but the
book is still being put together.
Believe it or not, the beginning of the next chapter is listed as the short story, "Dream", displayed in a previous month's Undead Thread.
It's not the whole of the chapter, just the beginning.
I have about half of this book finished, in patches of different time-sequences. It will cover a lot of time, and the characters change and develop considerably.
I'm enjoying it!

I expected them teacher to give me a good grade. I never thought I had to earn it.In my classes, I don't try to trick my students or try to make them fail. I'm fairly straightforward on projects and exams. So if they go to class, read the chapter, and do the homework, they should do well on the exams and in the class. But I can't give a student points if he or she doesn't turn in homework or do the projects.

A milestone was achieved in the Dimensional Doors thread yesterday.
The longest lasting resister to the typo virus finally got nailed by 1 typo caused by the typo virus.
Strangely, she has seemingly thrown the infection off since then.
(She hasn't told me how yet.)

More freezing fog? Phooey.
Just got in from orchestra practice. I was surprised that I played well; I haven't touched my horn for two weeks and I had a headache. We just might pull it all together before Sunday!

Can't make new bagpipe reeds without some arundo donax growing nearby Good point. I'll need something to make my oboe reeds out of, too.
