jumping spiders are the only free-ranging spiders I actually like.
wolf spiders and I don't get along at all.

LOL! A bit. I think my bite is off.
It's nice and overcast where I am downtown. The yellow face is confining itself to the southern part of the state.

We had freezing fog yesterday. My husband drove up to Starbucks to get our morning coffee (a distance of less than a mile) and counted four accidents. The roads were one big Slip 'N Slide.

Her pet jumping spider comes out, waves his forelegs as if either worshipping her or warding off the 'demon hands', and then he runs back into his hiding place.
Pretty neat little thing too.

Excellent. I had a pair of jeans that were getting a bit too tight to wear comfortably. Tried 'em on yesterday. They fit comfortably now. I must be doing something right.
Now for the big challenge. Continue my "5 lbs per month until target weight" through the rest of the Holiday season. I made it past Thanksgiving with no problems. Christmas/New Years is a LOT trickier....

Well, put your bite back on, and make the dentis fix it.
Pleasantly sunny, but cold, here.

Late in the afternoon I said hi to tulip and Face.

jumping spiders are cute.
and they do not bite humans.
I like the way they actually look at you... you can sorta see the gears whirring as they wonder "what is this gigantic THING I'm walking on?"

Tell me about it. I have a severe craving for commercially prepared eggnog. I'm determined to confine consumption of egg nog to 12/24 - 12/25. I love eggnog. *sigh*

I've had a few pet jumping spiders. It'd take me
forever to catch one 'cause I'd get the jar & it'd
run under my clock. I'd finally evict one & I'd get
another. They used to sit atop my clock in the
morning (my alarm went off at 7). Somehow it
seemed like they knew, it was just.... odd.
