hi 'Face. just catching up on yesterday's posts. do not be in any hurry to unpack. i have stuff in boxes that haven't been unpacked for 28 years or so. everything seems to be keeping just fine. no point disturbing stuff that isn't disturbing me.

Hmmmph! If you haven't used it in 28 years, you don't really need most of it. Keep the truly sentimental/important items and give the rest to someone else. Bless them with your largesse.

back in a little bit. must go see about Pushy. from Prout's description, she has cast herself once again. may as well teach him what to do in these cases. she has the record for the most casts in any one week period.

We could have used the deodorant idea, before the cat passed away. I don't suppose it works with toddlers ...

Good luck at all the swim meets. My brother and I were competitive swimmers for several years. Lots of work for the parents!

Thanks.

I'd not heard of the deodorant trick before Mcxlplx.

For how long did you compete and what was your favorite event?

Five or six years. 200M I.M. was my strongest event, and I was very competitive (at the city level) in 100M or 200M breaststroke and backstroke. Built up that upper-body strength that I now use hauling babies, tons of groceries, and heaping baskets of laundry :-).

Primus has nearly all the makings of a good IM'er; just needs some more work on his fly. (For anyone reading this post who is not familiar with swimming, in the swimming world, fly means "butterfly". No prurience involved at all.)

The three older kids all seem to be great at breaststroke, but Quartus, at age 5, loves swimming fly.

I swim for me. Never did any real competition. It is wonderful exercise while pregnant. Any hopes of you making it into a pool to help stretch and relax muscles?

What type of sailboat, please.

Other than the car refusing to start, things are just ducky.

How're you doing?

Moving slowly this morning. Below freezing outside; we've had an unusual amount of cold so far...
