You can't land the castle in Ireland.... stupid government actually believes in junk science, so they believed passive smoking causes cancer, so they banned it in work places - even pubs... b@5t@rds!! I voted against it, though I get to "enjoy" the results of it, but the Peoples' Soviet of Washington also have such a ban... that extends outside to 25 feet (~8 meters) from doorways, air intakes, etc.
Q. If the government are so gullible that they'll believe anything, how come they don't believe in property rights?
Don't know about Ireland, but the trend here in the US is against any traditional rights. Our 1st Amendment "free speech" liberty protects lap-dancers but not political educational material, for example.
Lib-controlled governments are not in the least bit gullible: they're on grab for power. And they're getting it, from a truly gullible poorly-educated populace that buys into everything that sounds nice & good -- but which sells them down the river. (Is that an Americanism?)
