Mcxlplx gets to go to the vet today. Then we're off to buy snowboots and milk. Looks like we have snow on the way.

Currently 17 degrees in Dallas, with an inch of ice in my driveway.

Coffee's on, so help yourself. I've laid out "additives" on the counter, for those who are interested.

We've just opened a new freeway interchange. Part of it is 90 ft. high. It was like a ski jump last night! Whee!

By the way, the Cayenne pepper and Irish whiskey were very thoughtful "additives", thank you!

I thought of making some hot cider this morning, but I'm too cold to move. We had 31 again last night, and though it's not at bad as what other parts of the country are getting, when one is used to 100 degrees, 31 is pretty chilly.

We're all fine - having a nice visit with OldTax-lady and the Captain. They're leaving tomorrow morning to see my cousin in Pinehurst, before going home to Florida. Tonight we're going to celebrate Der Prinz's birthday, which is really Monday, but Mom made a cake!

I hope Vowelless Cat gets a good report from the vet. We need to leave for church with the older kids in a few minutes, and there's something going on with Girl Scouts this afternoon that I need to get figured out shortly!
