Cranberry MoldIngredients:
1 can Cranberries (preferrably gelled) chilled to perfection in a 50 degree refrigerator for 350 minutes.
1 can opener (electric or manual will do)
1 white cranberry bowl.
One large serving spoon.
Preparation:
- Place 1 can of Cranberries on counter with the top up (If you have to read the word "Cranberries" with your head turned upside down, turn the can over).
- Place can opener on top and remove top from can.
- Gently place cranberry bowl top-side down on top of the open can of cranberries, and turn all ingredients over 180 degrees. Place large serving spoon to the side of your delicate creation.
- If you have done it right, it should look like this.

The key is to get the ridges just right. They're ornamental, donchaknow.

OMG! I had to wipe drool from my mouth three times before I finished reading the recipe! LOL. I've printed it out, and I'm going to try it before the holidays. Hubby loves cinnamon rolls and these sound so-o-o-o good. I'm thinking about adding raisins kind of like the Grandy's cinnamon rolls.

COKE SALAD (in place of cranberry sauce)
1 pkg rasperry gelatin
1 pkg cherry gelatin
1 can seedless white cherries
1 lg can crushed pineapple
1 C pecans
1 8-ounce package cream cheese (frozen)
2 Coca-Colas (two 12 oz/small), partially frozen
Dissolve gelatin in juices (heated) from cherries and pineapple. Then add cokes, cherries, pineapple and nuts. Pour into mold, place in refrigerator to congeal. When it's turned out of mold and ready to serve, grate frozen cream cheese over top of mold (gives the appearannce of snow). The "frozen cokes" make congealing faster.
Serves 10.
Whenever this dish is eaten for the first time, people will go crazy for the recipe. I guarantee it will become the hit of the meal!

Roast Yams
3 yams, cut into 1x2 inch pieces
olive oil to coat, 1-2 tbs
honey - a squeeze or 2
1-2 tsp chili spice
1 tsp cinnamon
Roast in preheated 400 degree oven about 20 mins until tender and slightly carmelized. Enjoy
*chili spice I use is blend of paprika, cumin, garlic and cayenne. All spices are to taste. It's also good with a dash of nutmeg and/or pecans or other nuts added for last 10 minutes of cooking time.
Brussels Sprouts
8 oz (1 container) of Brussels sprouts
1-2 tps olive oil
kosher or sea salt to taste
*pecans optional
Trim outer leaves and excess core on Brussels sprouts and cut larger sprouts in half.
Toss with olive oil to coat and sprinkle with salt.
Roast in preheated 400 degree oven about 20 mins until tender and slightly carmelized, turning sprouts about halfway through cooking time. Add nuts, if desired, after 10 minutes.
*You can blanche the sprouts after trimming to cut the bitterness. Put trimmed sprouts into boiling water and lower heat to a simmer for up to 5 minutes, drain well and pat dry before tossing in oil, then continue with recipe.
