Hey folks! Got the house shuttered up and left. I'm staying at my sister in law's beach house near St. Augustine (north of Melbourne). My paranoid self can't handle storm stress! Hopefully we are all in good shape when I get back. It was either come here or get my husband to strap me to the bed and sedate me...Hmmm...

Evening Ruthy - something else to consider with Glen's foot. LSA was helping me during the first porch rebuild. I guess in the late 70's. She was wearing heavy tennis shoes at the time. I was pulling nails from boards, they are often resuable, boards and nails :-). I flipped one over to drive the nails through and LSA remarked, "I'll Help" and before you could say NAIL, she stepped down on a 16 penny nail that was at the other end of the board. We did the home first aid, she and I both had current tetanus shots but later a big piece of the rubber sole oozed its way from the hole in her foot. She picked it out and replaced the bandaid. There may be flip flop sole in the wound, which should be removed if he can. BTW, LSA is a trooper, we still finished up later that night.

We also have little portable TVs so we can still watch the news while the storm is going on.
And if anyone is diong any drinking, please have a few for me! I'd have one myself, but I'd better keep my wits about me tonight. *grin*
