ABC's Extreme Home Makeover tonight was about a family with a soldier (I didn't catch what branch) who lost a leg in Iraq. They not only rebuilt his house to be more accommodating for him (taking out levels, etc.), they paid to have him fitted with a new prosthetic leg (he walked without pain and without crutches), and arranged to have his wife's Master's in Social Work paid for. She plans to work with families in similar situations.
It was a tearjerker.
