More than 100 cats have been seized from a woman's home in Duluth's West Duluth neighborhood.
The Duluth Animal Control and Animal Allies are asking for the public's help in finding homes for the cats. There are too many to be housed at the local animal shelter.
People can adopt the cats or be foster owners until space becomes available at the shelter.

How many women
are serial killers with
homes filled up with porn?
Some things are guy things,
some things are chick things . . . Girls get
cats and guys get porn . . .
Probably few if any of them were spayed/neutered, and the 100 figure was just a momentary blip in a rapidly rising population. 100 unfixed cats in a home together, ESPECIALLY when well-fed, will easily be 1000 cats within a year. A year ago she probably had fewer than 10. Nothing wrong with heading off a guaranteed disaster before it happens.
I don't know anywhere that you can keep 1000 head of cattle without being subject to regulation by a government agriculture agency. All states have provisions for people to maintain large numbers of cats or dogs, in either a breeding or rescue/shelter facility, but they have to have a license to do it, and meet reasonable requirements aimed at maintaining the health and welfare of the animals.
I can keep 1000 head of cattle scattered across 12,000 acres of open range land in SD.
