I was just sitting here thinking about a 1500 mile drive I have to make, and contemplating burning a couple CDS for the drive. I found some music that would make it more interesting but not enough. So here is the question.
If you were going to drive from Phoenix to Indy, you were in a sports car, what music would you want to have on your cd?

Agreed. Filter and Nine Inch Nails are also good ones to help you stay awake during a long road trip.

Beach Boys. Yes, I'm from California. Love the harmonies.
DH and I take audiobooks on CD for our road trips. We love them. Have done,"Master and Commander", "Apollo 13", "Into Thin Air" and several others. Really keeps us going and awake.
Have a great and uneventful road trip.

I make road trips across country almost every year. We listen to Skynyrd, Allman Bros, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams....may not be everyone's cup a tea.

Might want to put on the cruise control though. When those ol' boys get to going my foot has a tendency to keep going down.

Every few years or so we drive from Dallas to California. Everything from Stevie Ray Vaughn (my favorite) to Beethoven is played on the way there.
