Gee thanks.......and I thought you were my friends................

Actually getting down the stairs and across the lawn so I could sit outside without taking 40 minutes to accomplish it would be a great help :)

Getting in and out of the house is really the aboslute worse problem I've got.

Well admittedly, you didn't say anything - but just the comment about putting your hands all over yourself was enough to make me laugh and then I lumped you in with the bad boys.......sorry

She lucked out. People used to complain about Big Brother when credit card companies would call to verify charges out of the ordinary. Not any more.

I looked for that pepper holder at the giant HEB Marketplace in The Woodlands(a very cool store! The produce area alone was fantastic!) but they didn't have it. Although they did have OPI nail polish for less than salons charge. :-)

That word has potential for all kinds of abuse with this crowd. I'll post it if no one else does first.

I saw the beer can chicken contraption at the store, too, but I rarely cook more than one chicken at a time.

the credit card itself was not stolen, xshub and i each had our cards, but the # was stolen and all we could figure it had been hacked from an online purchase or something. even though we didn't have to pay it was a very invasive feeling.

it makes me sad to hear that you have dropped the issue of life from your radar screen. i am pretty rabidly pro-life, it is my number one issue. but you are talking about the unappeasables. And it doesn't matter what their particular hot button issue is, it could be the 2d amdt, it could be abortion, it could be anything. But the unappeasables will not be happy til the person who has their exact configuration of beliefs is on the court. Idealism must be tempered with pragmatism.

i am betting John Roberts is fine. i can't guarantee it. but i also realize that my opinion is worth the ether it is printed on. there are many on FR who think that their understanding of John Roberts mindset and judicial bent and their attendant thumbs up/down on his nomination/confirmation is going to be relevant somehow.
