WFB's attempt to emulate us ; ) No pushing at the door please!
askance
It drives me nuts.
:^)
Patton, there's this thing called paperwork and procedure - even mathmeticians, mostly, know about it......... ;^)
P, watch your back - xs is bound to show up sooner or later
Sort of like me breaking my ankle by tripping over a sewing machine.............you can't make the STUFF up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TGBO answers the mail to THE CLIENT; OWDT actually performs the work.
I work for OWDT.
For instance, I needed a bit of coverage for some employees - TGBO said can you help with a tricky project. I said, sure - give me money, and I will fix it. TGBO gave me authorization for about 1,000 hours of labor.
A week later, OWDT gave TGBO the answer, and charged 40 hours of labor.
Today, I sat through a meeting of TGBO accountants - they accused me of everything from plagerism to lying, insisting no one could perform a thousand hours of work in 40 hours.
I replied, "It is a computer - try turning it on."
I am paid to get things done.
And, in accordance with policy, law, etc. - I get my *ss chewed for breaking rules.
And bonuses for getting things done.
Now, on the down side - if I overdo it, they have every exscuse in the world to fire me on a moments notice (he broke all the rules! we warned him!).
On the upside, I really don't care. I would be perfectly happy to compete with my current employer.
You're too funny :)
there have been news stories galore about Chase screwing up big time with the security, i live in fear of that. we already had our card # stolen and $20,000 worth of computers bought with it a few years ago.
Shagged, even.
Should I tell xs? (lol)
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm staying out of it :)
what the hell did I say to get me in trouble?????????
I dunno - "hi, Pat" seems to qualify. ;)
There are folks dingbatty enough to do that?
I give on this nomination - I have been reading everything I could find about him, and I have no idea who he is.
Ask me in five years.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelies!
Poor babies!!!!
I'm pretty much staying out of the nomination discussions...........the rabid right-to-life people have totally turned me off. As I said on one of the Virginia campaign threads, they have totally succeeded in removing the issue from my radar screen.
Can't do wheelies........thankfully :) Passageways are too narrow and distances too short :)
LOL.
