It's the ~one~ degree that makes ALL of the difference, doncha know!! *wink*
And I don't understand how on earth it can be the same temperature here as it is there. Shouldn't it be at least 5 degrees cooler up there??
Prolly cause you get all them nice cool tropical breezes.
Are y'all supposed to get hit by Cindy or Dennis? We're supposed to get rain from Cindy this weekend.
Last year I couldn't have imagined saying this, but we need the rain.
It's almost that hot here. But not very humid at all. So it's doable.
I put up another canner of the spread. That's it. No more spread. The rest is going to be peach butter. I start that process in an hour.
Who lied and said tropical breezes are "cool"? :-D
Feels like someone turned on a blow dryer on its highest setting when the wind blows here, except it's sticky hot air. Blech!
Anyway, I don't expect we'll get more than some rain from Dennis. Cindy will prolly skip Miami altogether.
Can't say I blame her!
We got rain all night last night. I like this summer a lot better than the weather last summer ;~D
Well, what did you expect when you had the whole Hobbit Hole praying for sunny skies? *laughing*
The rain stayed away for weeks!
You should move to Colorado...
Yeah - maybe a bit too much gusto!
If'n I was gonna leave the state, I'd prolly head a bit further west than CO. ;-)
Just suggesting somewhere without humidity...
It's not summer without humidity!
Is there really such a place?
Yeah, here. Pretty much. Maybe 5% humidity. It's why I can bike in 90 degree weather.
Woo-HOO!
CO Moot will be terrific then!
Hehehe... for many, many reasons...
You know, I lost the link to that one place I found.
I can't even remeber what city it was in.
Do you remember? It was the pet-friendly place with high-speed internet. I remember it sat on a lot of acreage.
I'll keep looking!
When my little sister comes out, in two weeks, we might just do some 'sploring and see what we come up with.
