What's up, folks?
Hi Jen!
Nothing much. Just watching a CSI re-run and chasing after the kids.
Pretty exciting, huh? ;-)
Hey there... Back into the grind.
Somehow managed to pull a muscle(s) (I think) all down my ribs on the right hand side. Ack. Really painful to laugh, cough, or breathe. Beyond that... things are pretty good. :-)
Saw Dad's new rig... very cool. It's getting me into thinking about a new vehicle. Not sure what.
~snicker~
Ouch! How'd you manage to do that?
Wait. Never mind. Don't wanna know. ;-D
Sounds good...
Had dinner with my friend so she could show off her rock. Rocks, rather, I don't know what her new fiance had to pawn to afford those shiny lumps. A little flashy but she's thrilled, of course.
Wish I could be at her wedding, but she's having it at Christmastime.
How wonderful for her!
But a Christmas wedding? I dunno about that.
Kind of difficult to plan, doncha think?
Heh... well, the story isn't all that interesting. :-P
I could say it was yard work. That would be more interesting than the lame awkward stupid maneuver that actually did it. :-)
Hey... that's a good lookin' rig. Does it come in 4x4?
Patting yourself on the back a bit too hard then?
She's gonna let her mom do the planning ;-)
I would think an early summer wedding would be better, if for no other reason than that people might actually be able to attend, but they don't want to wait that long...
I'd think they could pull something together for a September/October wedding if they don't want to wait too long.
It's before the holiday season and I think Fall is a wonderful time of year for a wedding.
Heh... well, not lately anyway... :-P
Have you heard of that show "Fire Me, Please"?
It's hilarious. I'm watching it now on CBS.
Whoever gets fired closest to 3pm wins $25k.
Hehehe... gee... I hope there's a consolation prize...
Have I told you about the New Year's Eve wedding from hell?
Wife played piano, we both sang. Jr. was ringbearer. And I did ALL of the decorations/set up for the reception.
That included 6 (count 'em six) Christmas trees. Lattice and white lights, and hundreds of helium filled peach and green balloons on the ceiling. NO ONE offered to help.
And they've yet to say thank you (Jr. being ringbearer should tell you how long ago it was)
I'm being shipped two cases of diamonds that are currently being stored in an airport locker in Liberia.
But I don't think I'm supposed to say anything about it...
Well, they're all set-ups, so I think it's more for the fun of getting fired and getting paid for it.
The owner's are in on the gag, but the boss and co-workers aren't.
The new "employees" have to last as close to 3pm.
This one guy working in a ski shop has me cracking up here. He's wearing socks on his hands and has tried on and tested just about every piece of equipment in the store.
*shudder*
Whatta nightmare!
