We could find out today if the runaway bride, who ended up in Las Vegas, will face criminal charges for lying to police about being kidnapped.
News 3's Kirstin Linquist reports that she could spend up to five years in prision, pretty bad yes, but that's nothing compared to what she is facing from friends and family.
Wilbanks is staying out of sight at her parent's house but is expected to finally make a statement today.
A question she may answer is was this planned? We found out that the ticket to Las Vegas was purchased days before she disappeared.
While in Las Vegas, Wilbanks stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Sources close to News 3 say she used her fiancees last name when she checked in.
The two were have supposed to marry that Saturday.

That she ran away didn't seem to surprise him at all. Did these two meet at their psychiatrist's office or what?
Maybe it will contain the words "I'm nuts"?
Possible, wierder things have happened before.
I read on line that Treasure Island provides free Transportation from the Greyhound station..

I don't think TI has its own van or limo service per se -- but there are a number of independent, privately owned shuttle services which serve TI and other Strip hotels.
While in Las Vegas, Wilbanks stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino...

I have to ask, since I didn't really see all of these interviews with family and friends, but did anyone actually confirm this? Reason I ask is that last night, it was said that TI would not confirm or deny that she stayed there, and that is typical...the hotels keep their guest lists highly confidential. If someone (e.g., an employee) leaked this to the media, his/her head will roll.

Who's "Jilted"?
No way. Lots of Southerners do not show their emotions. They look like nothing bothers them when in fact they have a lot of emotions and intelligence running underneath. When I was in college, I had a German professor who was city planner in the Southern city I was from. He told me how he hated it because he could never tell what was going on. This man is the real deal. He's protecting his fiance and certainly had nothing to do with her disappearance. He's too much of a gentleman to show the world how this has affected him.
But she didn't take any change of clothes. I don't think this was thought out well at all.
Sounds like "the stiff upper lip" that the British have.
Porbably a bellhop or a bus driver that recognized her.
A Las Vegas reporter is following this story. She reports this. She also said that the hotel is so tight-lipped, as LV hotels are, that she can't get any confirmation from them. So I don't know how she got the info.
Yes, I think that's a good way of putting it.
Ok...maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but all I found was this (on the TI website):
Airport Transportation
What type of transportation is offered from the airport to Treasure Island?
Transportation is offered by Grayline (702) 739-5700 and Bell Transportation (702) 739-7990 for a nominal fee. Both shuttle companies pick-up outside of Baggage Claim at the McCarran International Airport.

Doesn't even mention Greyhound.

Also, I found this regarding the question of whether you need id:
"...identification is required upon check-in for all guests."
What I was implying way back on this thread was I think she probably used John's credit card.
I can also say with some degree of certainty that we will never know fully how her escapade was financed.
HE won't tell if she used his credit card without permission.

Jilted = John
Thanks for that terrific photo on # 11.
Very apt foreground.
Now playing at Treasure Island: "Mutiny by Lady Bountyful"

I wonder if she saw the show while she was there!
Not they are saying she had eight bridal showers!
I doubt if she has a second or third credit card in her name. Visa won't give me a second card unless I lose mine.

Not from the same provider, but...I have two Visas from two different banks.
