I would have liked to hear Bo sing "That's My Story and I'm Stickin' To It" by Colin Rae. :-)

The male disc jockey doesn't care, though, because she's gorgeous LOL, I know what he means :) But she has a gorgeous voice too--when accompanied with the right song.
BTW, the rumor over on the AI boards as to why she was so emotional is that her dad was diagnosed with cancer
Wow, that's the first I've heard of that. The rumor here was that Vonzelle's dog had died. (shrug) Considering the timing, I'm suspicious.
To: texasflower
Wow he has some experience. If he wins, great but I will be equally happy if Carrie or Anthony wins. Anthony is getting stronger imo. I think Bo is really good and I do think he has changed his life around but I would love to see one of the 2 win that really seem to be good all American kids. :)

That would have been good, also. I've always liked that song. :-)

I'm nervous about tonight. I hope my girl Carrie can make it through.
I disagree with many about her 2nd song last night. During the song, I thought she was doing a great job. She was a little "weak" in the beginning, but that was mostly because the band was too loud for her lower vocal parts. When she nailed the key change and high notes, it was great!
Carrie has one problem that I see and that's been song selection. Early on, she was much better at that. Her version of Heart's "Alone" was almost better than the original. But what was she thinking by picking the "Ditzy Chicks?"
As for the "looks" factor, she's a cute girl but I wouldn't say she's "all looks." I don't really think looks are a factor (for some reason)on Idol.
If they were, Lindsay and Jessica would be in the top 5. And Sarah Mathers (sent home early on from the top 20) would have won it all.
Let's see....Ruben and Fantasia were last years winners so if that doesn't say all about looks not counting, I don't know what does!
My bet is Carrie and Bo will be the final 2. Carrie will have an uphill battle against Blow Vice. Unless she's totally perfect on both numbers and Bo stumbles, she won't be able to win it. But she'll still fulfill 1/2 of Simon's original prediction and out-sell Ruben, Fantasia, Clay and Kelly.

Ah, yes, Sarah Mather. She had a good voice and deserved to be in the top 12 at least--more so than that shrieker Mikalah.

"Blow Vice"--LOL, that's better than "Bocaine"!

I am also nervous about Carrie tonight after the way she was bad mouthed by the so called judges last night. She is fantastic, has wonderful talent, and is an American Idol in my mind no matter what happens tonight! So is Anthony, who is a equally talented, but doesn't have much chance with Randy and Paula, who seem to be extremely biased against him! Sigh. I will never let myself get caught up in this show again! LOL

You are a very sweet person Emily. It's been a pleasure to spend time with you on this thread.
I have a question for you and everyone. Does it seem to anyone else like Vonzell doesn't really fit in with the others?
I don't know what it is exactly, but she just seems separate from the others. I'm not talking about her voice or anything like that.
Does anyone know what I'm trying to say?

I like Colin Rae anyway. The title would have been a little ironic, but the song itself would have been terrific sung by Bo.

I was going to say that Vonzelle is the youngest, but Fedorov is 19. She's 20.
Maybe it's her personality.
