I don't care about the dances anyway. Remember that dude (Travis I think) who was in the "top 10 guys?"
He was a dancer but couldn't sing to save his life. He was booted pretty early.
Carrie's not a disco dancer, but she can out-sing anyone in this remaining lot.
And as Simon says, it's a singing competition.
True, it is a singing competition, but thinking past this competition, even if she wins it, she has a better chance of making it really big if she has a bit more showmanship.
The kids that mostly go to those concerts like it active. Well, I do too and I'm 45.
I definitely think she's got the very best voice. Someone on another thread just now called AI the "Carrie Underwood Show".
I'll remember that next time. ;-)

Good one! Where's the link??
It's just a short little vanity thread posted by echo talon wanting to know who was voted off.
Post 6 is the one that calls it the Carrie Underwood Show.

The young girls love "Lt. Dan" you see, and don't think he looks dirty in the least! (Actually, this not so young girl thinks he is kinda of cute too!) :-)
What I will never understand is how Scott keeps going on and on and on! YUK!!!!
Two blacks getting booted in a row? Discrimination! (Er, just kidding. But I am sorry to see Anwar going before Scotty.)
Ah, another Lt. Dan fan! {hugs, hugs} I thought I was the only one on this thread who was pulling for Constantine!
It was the Barbie reference that was damaging. There's a lot of females who hate the Barbie image. They'll never vote for a Barbie doll candidate.
Do you draw comic books?
you should get a $1.00 for every time that you have to explain that story! By the end of the series (or until Lt Dan gets the boot) you could be well in the money....LOL..
:0)
Do you remember the show "In Living Color"?
The Wayan's brothers and Jim Carrey got their start on that show.
I think I read somewhere, a long time ago, that Paula Abdul was the dance choreographer for that show.
The dancer's were called the Fly Girls and they were great.
I tried it years ago, but gave up in frustration. But I might try again.
I wish! :)
Just barely, thanks.
So many 'love limits'...so little time for freeping (or sleeping)
When it rains, it pours... no time for snores...
the freelancers' Catch 22
wow...thanks
=^)
Scott is from Cleveland. People there support their own, especially when it comes to music. Case in point, it was awarded the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame due to to enormous public support. IMHO it should have gone to Philly or Detroit, which have both contributed more to the the genre.
It is a distraction... and also prevents really puting the sound through the stereo system, which really helps me hear the gory details more clearly.
Well good....
gigi and I weren't Barkin up the wrong tree.
Your gorgeous art renders me speechless.
