True, it is a singing competition, but thinking past this competition, even if she wins it, she has a better chance of making it really big if she has a bit more showmanship.
The kids that mostly go to those concerts like it active. Well, I do too and I'm 45.
I definitely think she's got the very best voice. Someone on another thread just now called AI the "Carrie Underwood Show".

Simon really tried to throw a wrench in Carrie's race, when he referred to her Tues eve as "a cross between Barbie and the Stepford wives." Everybody booed, but the damage was done.
It was the Barbie reference that was damaging. There's a lot of females who hate the Barbie image. They'll never vote for a Barbie doll candidate.
