Sorry! We were talking about South Park (which I turned off 10 minutes into the show...). Fox should replay AI during the week. A ratings bonanza! ( :

Whoa, thanks for the link!
Slingblade was arrested for "disorderly conduct" in February 2001 after a fight with his baby's mother.
She told police that Scott "made verbal threats to her in the past by telling her to 'watch her back.'"
Savol eventually took a plea to a reduced misdemeanor disorderly conduct rap and was fined $500, placed on a year's probation, ordered to complete a domestic violence or anger management program, and sentenced to a suspended 20-day jail term ...
Savol's rap sheet also includes a "no contest" plea to a 1995 misdemeanor trespass charge. He was arrested for entering Shaker Heights High School after being "warned both verbally and by letter" to stay out of the building.
Looks like your fears are justified. Sheesh.
To: silent_jonny
Ha! What a shock.
I am surprised however, that it took the media this many weeks to dig it up.

Don't they have to sign an affadavit that they've never been arrested, or such? Failure to disclose is grounds for disqualification....
Here's my take..FWIW..no way the producers didn't find this..too easy to pick up..so they had it in their pockets....now, the dump him, and bring back Mario....if he left because he signed a record deal..they can buy him out..the publicity would be unreal..

Morning. If AI does kick off Scott because of this, I doubt that he'll be replaced by anybody, especially Mario (unless that was the plan all along--diabalacle!). What they'll probably do is skip elimination that week and all remaining contestants would be safe until the
following week, like when whatshisface was kicked out in the second season--Corey.
But I don't think AI has a choice here. They have to boot Scott otherwise it'll set a bad precedent for the show. It would deteriorate into Thug Idol.

Jessica didn't deserve to go last night. It may have been a week or two early, but not much more than that. When she tries to do country, Carrie is better. When she tries to do pop, Vonzell is better. When she tries to do rock, Nadia is better. Jessica may be the most well-rounded, but she's always going to fail the comparison to one of the specialists. Plus, as I've mentioned before, the "barfly" look isn't helping her either.

Don't they have to sign an affadavit that they've never been arrested, or such? Failure to disclose is grounds for disqualification.... As far as I've heard, they don't have to have a clean record, but they do have to disclose it to the producers. If Scott came clean to the producers up front, and they still let him in the competition, they have no recourse now.

Sounds right.but if they knew about it , now ay they'd let him on...it's not like he was going to be one of the top 5....BTW..what do you think of my idead that they bring back Mario...Mario's laid low..hasn't said anything bad about the show..which is what bootees usually do..so???

BTW..what do you think of my idead that they bring back Mario Absolutely not. Not only has Mario left them (not the other way around), but that would be grossly unfair to the other contestants. If they have to let someone go, then we'll either have a "free" week with no eliminations, or they'll simply rig the voting to get rid of the person they want to chuck.
