Don't they have to sign an affadavit that they've never been arrested, or such? Failure to disclose is grounds for disqualification....
Here's my take..FWIW..no way the producers didn't find this..too easy to pick up..so they had it in their pockets....now, the dump him, and bring back Mario....if he left because he signed a record deal..they can buy him out..the publicity would be unreal..

Morning. If AI does kick off Scott because of this, I doubt that he'll be replaced by anybody, especially Mario (unless that was the plan all along--diabalacle!). What they'll probably do is skip elimination that week and all remaining contestants would be safe until the
following week, like when whatshisface was kicked out in the second season--Corey.
But I don't think AI has a choice here. They have to boot Scott otherwise it'll set a bad precedent for the show. It would deteriorate into Thug Idol.

As far as I've heard, they don't have to have a clean record, but they do have to disclose it to the producers. If Scott came clean to the producers up front, and they still let him in the competition, they have no recourse now.
