Slingblade was arrested for "disorderly conduct" in February 2001 after a fight with his baby's mother.
She told police that Scott "made verbal threats to her in the past by telling her to 'watch her back.'"
Savol eventually took a plea to a reduced misdemeanor disorderly conduct rap and was fined $500, placed on a year's probation, ordered to complete a domestic violence or anger management program, and sentenced to a suspended 20-day jail term ...
Savol's rap sheet also includes a "no contest" plea to a 1995 misdemeanor trespass charge. He was arrested for entering Shaker Heights High School after being "warned both verbally and by letter" to stay out of the building.
Looks like your fears are justified. Sheesh.
Ha! What a shock.
I am surprised however, that it took the media this many weeks to dig it up.
Here's my take..FWIW..no way the producers didn't find this..too easy to pick up..so they had it in their pockets....now, the dump him, and bring back Mario....if he left because he signed a record deal..they can buy him out..the publicity would be unreal..
They should leave Scott in the competition.
Because he's NEVER going to win it.
Nice voice - but NO charisma. He's just mediocre to me.
Nadia - sizzling.
Carrie - classic country.
Bo - hubba hubba yum, yum!
BTW...I think Simon Cowell had it right with Carrie in her opening audition, when he said he was amazed that a shining country star hadn't shown in the first three Idol competitions. He told her from the get-go, she had star quality in the country genre.
And Simon knows his stuff. (The other two judges? To much crapology from them IMO, and they are too interested in making the contestants feel good. Simon knows what will sell)
