Robin Hood. Taking back what the government stole in the first place.

By the same token, you could say that Robin Hood is a perfect example of a liberal DemonRat movie. The re-distribution of wealth. Taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

Appreicate the responses, everyone but tell why you list the movie, not just the title of the movie

True Grit starring GWB, er, I mean John Wayne (and the chick who Glen Cambell got to spank -- the highlight of his career).

"and the chick who Glen Cambell got to spank"

Kim Darby. Why would True Grit be a Republican-themed movie. Great movie, yes, but why republican? No minorities in it?

I always thought of robin hood as being somewhat communistic as well.

I sort of agree but Robin Hood wasn't working for the government and in the context of Robin Hood, the poor were the over-taxed. btw I'm talking about the 1938 Errol Flynn with Olivia De Havilland version not the Costner flick.

Nah. Robin Hood steals from the tax collectors and gub'mint officials and returns it to the folks who earned it (minus operating expenses, of course...).

'cause conservatives have true grit, and the dems are weak kneed quislings. Plus all good GOP'ers want to spank Kim Darby.

Not my favorite movie but a good movie I saw recently with a conservative theme was The Incredibles - but I only get to see movies like that because of the 5 year old in my house.
