Kitty Caption LXXXIX – Law of Gravity Ruled Unconstitutional – (Humor/Meow Alerts)

Scientists and engineers around the world are confused. Living Nobel Prize winners in physics are dumbfounded. The people at NASA cant explain it. Dont ask our cats, they dont understand what is happening either. Even Mother Nature is fooled (and we know what happens when you try to fool Mother Nature).
While the rest of the country is still wondering what the United States Supreme Court was thinking when they struck down capital punishment for minors, they just came up with another brain teaser. In another 5-4 ruling, the United States Supreme Court has ruled unconstitutional the Law of Gravity. What this means for civilization no one knows, but lets see what progress our cats have made in the analysis of this ruling.
No Gravity Huh OK Genius, Explain This.

Kitty Humor is a weekly thread (usually on Monday) on FR in the General Interest section.
Among all the serious news, a little humor, brought to us by our feline friends is a nice break.
Helps us get the week to a nice start.
If you want on/off the kitty humor list (163 members) or you have a picture/animation you want featured, please send me freep-mail.

Well, it isn't mine, just one I found on the internet. Mine is a bit more "sedentary." He just imagines himself flying through the air. You will notice the extended arms and crouching legs. He is really fixin' to take off there. It just requires a lot of concentration.

He's not a cat. But he's the newest addition to the house. He arrived yesterday. He takes the place of Michael the Mutt who was my companion of nearly 17 years.

That picture of the kitten and the kid - I'd hug the kitten and tell someone else to take care of the kid. I mean really, look at that fuzzy little face, how could you resist that!? (does this mean I'm gonna be a bad grandma someday?)
Flyer - re: your pic#5 - I'm sorry to have to say this but that is about the ugliest excuse for a cat I've ever seen. But if it's yours I'm sure you love it anyway (I hope I didn't hurt your feelings)
Glenn - re: your pic#16 - I want to come to your house to play. Those big innocent eyes are hiding some pure destructive baby fun. (condolences on Michael)

Don't think that is his cat. Flyer is a dog person.
