Kitty Caption LXXXIX – Law of Gravity Ruled Unconstitutional – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
7 March 2005 | PetroniDE

Posted on 03/07/2005 3:57:49 AM PST by PetroniDE

Scientists and engineers around the world are confused. Living Nobel Prize winners in physics are dumbfounded. The people at NASA can’t explain it. Don’t ask our cats, they don’t understand what is happening either. Even Mother Nature is fooled (and we know what happens when you try to fool Mother Nature).

While the rest of the country is still wondering what the United States Supreme Court was thinking when they struck down capital punishment for minors, they just came up with another brain teaser. In another 5-4 ruling, the United States Supreme Court has ruled unconstitutional the Law of Gravity. What this means for civilization no one knows, but let’s see what progress our cats have made in the analysis of this ruling.

No Gravity Huh – OK Genius, Explain This.

Gravity Proof Card Building – Maybe; Cat Proof Card Building – NEVER.

Damn – Missed Again. Don’t Laugh – You Try Calibrating Scope With No Gravity.

OOPS – I Guess Murphy’s Law Still Applies.

No, not my cat.

My dog is a cat person, though.

This cat wandered in the open patio door a couple of weeks ago and visited for a while.

CAT HAIKU

The air is my friend.
It opens wide when I leap
from couch to book case.

Elegance and grace.
Stretched long from my tail to paws.
To land on a dime.

Hind legs coil and flex.
Faster than the eye can see.
Am I cool, or what?

I see the spot I want
up there. Coil up and push hard.
Land without a sound.

Run and leap. Sail off
the wall. Magazines below.
Sliding way too fast!

Jack.

Is that your picture? If so, what color do you call that paint? It's nice.

BTW, what's the end of your tag line mean?

No, that's not my picture, so your guess is as good as mine on the color.
