Why do men want younger women? (huh?)

Q: I'm a woman in my "little" 30s and I am wondering: Why is it that men my age only want to date women in their 20s or early 30s? I've toyed with the idea of posting a personal ad on an online dating service, but when I went through the listings, it seemed that the men my age only wanted to date women ages 21 to 30! I feel so discouraged.

A: Men are pigs. This is my clinical observation, based on 12,464 interviews with single men over the last few years. And it's not only a woman's point of view. In fact, "men are pigs" is a direct quote from my husband, who is happy to trash his youth-obsessed gender.

Now the good news: The best thing about online dating is just what you have discovered. Individuals' profiles can be as revealing as an FBI dossier, but funnier! Do we really believe he keeps both "The Brothers Karamazov" and Playboy on his nightstand? Um, no.

Here's a little insight into my ex. He didn't speak to me for two whole days shortly after we got married because he found out that I received a higher score on the SAT than he did. He purposely chose to marry a woman that he knew was his intellectual inferior because he couldn't handle being married to one that he thought was superior to him.

I think golf is a case of less is more.

Today I would relate a golf swing to my tennis swing when I have set up and have time to take a nice smooth accelerating swing.

People playing racket sports tend to hit on the run most of the time, so when you have the right to stand there and take your time on your terms, it's a totally different animal IMO.

My father was 38 when he left mom for my step-monster who was 19 (we call her Monster for short). I was 15 and my older brother was 17.

I was 24 when my little (half) brother was born.

Just another "normal" family.

you are right....I used to play alot of tennis in my teens and early 20s and was better at it than golf.....but I"m more a weight training, moutain biking, surfing, roller blading kind of guy.........golf is strictly an entertaining or leisurely drinking activity for me....probably play only 4 times a year now......takes too damned long.....

Look at Prince Charles, he can get any young girl he wants. He instead chose an older woman. What she has that a 25 years old hard body young thing don't have? A brain, empathy, care, patience, understanding, .....

I guess this article and the person who wrote it conveniently forgot or left out the fact that those women at that personal ad sight, that many of those women are looking for men who are : TALL ? HANDSOME ? NOT FAT, but, HUNKS and ATHELTIC, EDUCATED ? WEALTHY ?

How can this women criticize men and call them " PIGS" ( in her mind a character flaw ) for men wanting a younger woman, and when, at the same time, not looking or over looking at the fact about the preferences of those other women on that personal ad web sight ?
Like I said, I same argument can be said about women.
