Heh...Tam is trying to find a way to fit both his front end AND his back end into the thing.
It isn't working real well.
This is a crate he slept in when he was really little, but I put it up high and was using it for papers...just got it down as I've been clearing up. I think he's wondering why it shrank...
Good morning!
It's a beautiful day here. I almost feel human, though I'm not going to add much but a joyful noise to the singing this morning. I'm leaving in about fifteen minutes... don't suppose I'll be back until close to 2.
Which reminds me....perhaps Miss Cat would want me to get my laptop case out for her to sleep in again.
Okay....one last coat of petroleum distillates and I'm done on the door frame.
I just got my hair cut for the first time in AGES (well...August), so I feel human again, too. I've been too broke to do that, and my hair gets really horrid when it's long!
And I made brownies to bring out to the house. I'm such a nice sister. ;-)
hmmmm. Petroleum distillates....
Hehehe....and then after I sand down the patches around the door, I get to paint.
Mmmmm.....volatile organic compounds....
Hope kitty's lump is benign.
One of ours is quite the timid soul. But given food, a radiator or open window (depending on the season) a litter box, brushing, and a bed, she is content. Yet for all that, she traveled well.
Paint? Woodlawn winterwhite?
Naw....whatever the kitchen white is.
get a picture of that!
For the entire trip out to CO, there will be one of you available to tend to the cats if need be. It's not like you'll be driving alone, and have to stop if there's a problem.
What a nice letter. So it sounds like he's sending you a check for the value of the knives, so that the can't be considered a gift and he can keep them? He must like em a LOT!
Free to a good home (or for a GI goodie package): "Shrek 1" DVD 2-disk set special edition, and "The Pricess Bride" special edition. First person to freepmail me gets either or both.
There's a lot more to that, which g'nad can explain better than I can. Gen Sattler can at least be proud that he effectively paid for the ER knife we sent 1SG Kasal.
But yes, it seems he likes them, and it's pretty hard to impress a Lieutenant General.
Wanted to ping you guys to #4,588.
Jim, sometimes The Free Republic Hobbit Hole does things I think you might appreciate knowing.
Well, after many months of penny-pinching...we got to go out to eat CHINESE FOOD!! It was great, but the best part was a guy in the Navy sat down at the table next to us and got the buffet, ate it all by himself.
Needless to say, he was pleasantly surprised to find "someone" had picked up his bill.
:-)
Great job, Hobbit Hole!!
Thank you all very much!!
P.S. I also proudly display a Hobbit Hole Knife that was presented to me in Seattle.
Is that a line from "Return of the King"...regarding Shelob????
Keep on spreadin that joy, honey!
