Evening OT - Staining again? petroleum distilates...mmmmmm.
I'll do that! Thanks for the tip! Since if I do it it'll be mostly clothes and other fairly lightweight things, I don't imagine I'll have a problem...but better safe than sorry!
Agh! Darn italians!
My parents had a van a lot like that, though I think it dated from the mid 80s, for a while. I recall it being a stickshift. Then we outgrew it and drove 15 seaters. Then the Expedition came along and we all happily squeezed in, grateful for a car that could back up.
I like the appearance of the Thule, though it does look kinda small.
But then...I may not need all THAT much space.
Yeah. I think this will be the last one, maybe. This afternoon when I was sanding, it started to look a bit more yellowish. So maybe it's a good match for the floor after all. I'm planning on putting on the clear coat tomorrow.
Very! ;o)
We always did the caravan thing...i.e. if we ever went anywhere all together (like for church) we took two vehicles and Mom drove one and Dad the other. Usually there was some argument about who got to go in whatever car was considered best - or with the parent that was most likely to stop for treats. Heh...
Yep. It's looking more yellow.
Evenin' everybody! :-)
Yippee! Monday! [slap]
Once more into the breech...
Agincourt rules!
I'm back. We ran out of Black-eye peas early.
:)
Heh, after we started driving we downgraded to an 8-seat SUV. Mom and Dad would go by themselves and make me drive the kids.
The pastor noticed this and, ah, commended them on their decision ;-) Needless to say he has six kids and knows that big-family parents need even a car trip on their own sometimes...
Heh...
Mom and Dad did "date night" on Fridays. Usually that just involved something like going to McDonald's, getting takeout, and eating in the car while talking...but it didn't involve us! ;-)
My parents didn't do anything like that for years. And then I got old enough and they'd just disappear for a weekend. Sometimes they'd call us and say, "Well, we're not coming home tonight, we're going to Niagara Falls".
