Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

If you went with her...we'd be neighbors!
My brother is apparently thinking of honeymooning in the Denver area. His fiancee wants to check the area out - they may even move there in the future.

Maybe I'd better keep one of the rolls of quarters back? ;-)

Still probably easier than dealing with the border...but I really dislike tolls!

Yup, I'm against them on moral grounds, but what'cha gonna do?
If you end up going through Canada you have to bring me Smarties.

If you end up going through Canada you have to bring me Smarties.I might be able to get those anyway! You know we're just an hour from the border, right?
If I went on an ordinary weekend, I wouldn't have the other problems...we could bring back Smarties and Cadbury Crunchie bars. Mmmmm!

Jen is the main Smartie fan, though I do like 'em!
But at the moment, I'm not far from Canada. Until I move in April! Some of my siblings and I have been thinking of making a trip just over the border to get candy anyway, so we might just hafta do that soon!
In my case, I love Cadbury Crunchie bars...which are yet another thing you can't get in the states.

Don't know where this 'mostly cloudy' nonsense is coming from. The sun is shining and it is glorious!!
