Sorry to hear about your diabetes. I know sooo many people who have that. I'm glad to hear that it's under good control. Keep it that way. Out of control diabetes can be very dangerous, as I'm sure you are aware. Keep your weight down and exercise.
Ugh. I sound like a nanny now... but it's only because I care.

I managed to parlay it into getting a part time job with insurance first. Schmart! Very schmart!
Even with insurance, I pay a lot for some of my meds, fortunately I don't take many. I just picked up a refill of my Allegra the other day - the copay had risen to $50! The reason is that the Allegra is not on my insurance company's formulary, so they don't want me to have it. I asked my allergy immunology doc about the alternatives, and he said they aren't as good, and wants me to take the Allegra. Oh well...

Yeah. The last thing in the universe I wanted was for it to be a (non-covered) pre-existing condition.

Oh Geez .. well you take care .. that's not something to mess with
My grandmother had real bad diabetes and went into a couple diabetic comas
The stories I could tell about that women .. my father use to have to pay the neighbor kids NOT to run to the bakery for her
My brother has it also, but he takes good care of himself and keeps up with his diet and meds

"Keyword doesn't say it is." Better check again.

Looks to me like he's just begging for a discrimination lawsuit. This guy is over the top. Personally, I don't believe that a company has any right whatsoever to dictate, under threat of termination, what an employee does on his own time, as long as he's not doing it as a representative of the company.

"See what happens when my chaperone isn't around." Boy, I'll say. Can't take my eyes off you two. Next thing I know, y'all'l be cavorting in the basement, with Darks somewhere spying and snickering from the walls.

Good luck with the diabetes - it can be a tricky one.

I think these insurance companies don't want you have anything that is effective expensive. There really are very few drugs on the $10 and $25 copay list. Most are either on the $50 copay or 100% self pay lists.

"the loss was caused by diabetes" That's got to suck really bad. I'm glad you've got a handle on it and you'll feel better without the extra weight. A lot better. I know how it feels not to hardly ever eat anything you really like. It isn't fun, but if I look at food the wrong way, I gain weight. It stinks. I won't say that I stay hungry all the time, but I seldom feel satisfied, either.

LOL! Poor Darks takes the blame again even though it was MY fault this time. Hahhahahha.

Thanks for the link - Dilbert is my life. There must be a company spy who sends Scott Adams the scoop about my tech firm. Not I!
