Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Though we pass them by today...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I started using Vick's Vap o Rub again last year, and boy, I'd forgotten just how good a job it does! Really cleared up the crud in my lungs!

Prayers going up, Rick. I just realized I still need to get you the info on that family I mentioned a few months ago. I saw their daughter at Midnight Mass. She heads to Iraq in July.

Community colleges are great that way. I personally feel that High Schools should be run under the same business model.
Thanks for the congrats, btw. My first official duty was to bring in doughnuts for everyone. *chuckle*

Good morning. Nasty weather headed our way. I'm kinda wishing I'd taken the day off. Hope I don't have trouble getting home...

BTW, congrats on your promotion, Lil!

My first official duty was to bring in doughnuts for everyone. *chuckle*Mmmm...I saw that a local grocery store is now selling Krispy Kremes! LARD BOMBS! I haven't had a Krispy Kreme in a couple of years, and oddly enough, it was in NYC that I had them last. That's when I took the picture of Flat Frodo in front of the sign at a place close to the hotel where I was staying with Clare's Girl Scout troop.

Pray for a successful conclusion for the troops, and us.Will do!
And hopefully once this move is taken care of I'll be able to help out with more than prayers! We'll see how everything goes. You are doing a wonderful thing, for sure!

I've never had Krispy Kremes.
I do like Dunkin Donuts once in awhile...but I take it they're vey different. Ardent supporters on both sides, though!

That's great, Rick, that he is touched to potentially help 'us' out. I really appreciate the work you do, wish we could afford to give more and more regularly, but we'll try to send some out of the next check. It's been a great project. :~D
I pray a great fellowship takes place with this new knife maker!
To: msdrby
Huh...wonder if she's going to be an early walker!
My sister Margaret was walking at nine months. She was a terror...

So how are you feeling this morning Corin? Well, the fever's down. But I'm hittin' the cough drops like they're goin' out of style. Took four cough drops to get thru the breakfast event.
I'd like to go home. But I've got too much to do.
