I have to laugh at these birds around here. Some of these finches have gotten so plump, it wouldn't surprise me to see one roll off its little perch. They eat constantly!

Thank you Gran and Cheri .. yes she is young . 49 years old

My brother talked to my one sister and said this morning she just wasn't right and he had thought she might have had a stroke or something and call 911

I'm not sure what happened at the hospital the ambulance took her to .. but my brother then drove her to the hospital that she works at ... his wife in a nurse

He said she is alert and understands what is going on, but that she isn't really able to respond and just stares blankly

I'm praying she pulls through this

It'd be highly uncomfortable to be shipped wrapped in a rug.

Isn't it awful how these parents bring everything to DSS or the law? They always put the kids in the middle to tear them in half. When you come right down to it, neither parent should have the child, or shouldn't have had it in the first place. All the kids amount to are a tug of war between the adults.

So much injustice in the world relating to mistreated, over-produced little kids. They aren't wanted to begin with and are used as foils in disputes and wars. They never have a chance to begin with.

Half the world should be spayed and neutered.

Pray that it's not malignant, and in a part of the brain where it can be safely removed without doing her too much damage.

She must have been feeling the pressure and it was taking it's toll.

Hope to heck they caught it soon enough. She's young, that's in her favor.

Oh, do you feed the finches special seed just for them? I don't any longer. They just eat you out of house and home without even bothering to find any food on their own. LOL

I am having fun watching the Jays now. I bought a big bag of peanuts in the shell and put some out on the bench on the deck. To see a Jay find a peanut is a sight to behold. They get sooooo excited and call out to their brethren to come and see.

Not true, not true at all. I love any kind of package..but am especially found of how they're wrapped. All the bells and whistles, I always say.

Now.. as for the Dark 1.. I may have to make exceptions. I don't think he's ever been wrapped too tight, if you get my drift?

This same couple had another child and had their rights terminated on him before these two were even born. I don't know the particulars, but as I understand it, dad was in prison when mom lost her rights and he signed his off voluntarily since he was incarcerated. That little boy has since been adopted.

Oh, the Jays are hilarious with their peanuts. They do love them. Even the squirrels don't stand much of a chance against hungry Jays.

Yeah, I put thistle seeds out for the finches. they just love them. I had to add a second feeder for them they go through them so fast, and yes, they are quite expensive. I need to get better finch feeders that have the bowl thingy underneath to catch the fallout. I end up with half the seed on the porch. It's messy AND wasteful. After Christmas, I am going to have do some more serious browsing at that wild bird place in Little Rock. Can't afford it right now, although, one of those specialty feeders might make a nice gift for my dad and stepmom. They are really into the birds too. It must run in the family.

Ten years ago, when Republicans won the house, Newt made a statement about orphanages, causing a big hubbaloo. I thought he was right then and I do now.

If a child is to be taken from parents by the state, they should be placed in state sanctioned orphanages. Therefore, this shuffling around of the child would cease as they would stay there until the parents straighten up their lives or are forced to give up all rights to the child and allow them to be adopted. Well run orphanages could offer security and stability to a child's life. And volunteers who truly love children would be allowed to interact in their lives under much controlled supervision, taking out the money factor in caretaking a child.
