AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1396) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 16, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 11/16/2004 4:20:42 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The quote of the day:

I want to go back. It kills me when I see the news, when I think of all my buddies back there. [Ryan Chapman, US Marine, at Landstuhl, Germany, wounded at Fallujah.]

Condi Rice is President Bush's selection to replace Collin Powell as Secretary of State.

The Bush Administration is agressively hunting down some 400,000 fugitive immigrants, some 80,000 of which were ordered to leave the country after criminal convictions, according to the Arizona Republic.

NBC is saying that a Marine shot an unarmed and wounded Iraqi prisoner in cold blood. The network offers as proof a video grab showing a marine standing over a prisoner with his M-16 pointed at him. The screen goes to black and a shot is heard on the tape (from the caption to the AP/NBC Pool screen grab). While this means there is no video proof of the shooting, NBC still claims it occurred.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

President Bush choose Bill Clinton as the new Secretary of State

Bill O'Reilly is the only person in the world who could make Scott Peterson look like a nice guy .... with brains.

LOL......Iowa Granny would be up for the job, I'll bet!

The White House site has a section devoted to the cabinet. Clicking on each person gets some background on him or her. For instance, Rod Paige was superintendent of the Houston Independent School District before W tabbed him to move to DC.

And besides, it would take too much time away from FReeping. And I'd have to get dressed before Noon. Flannel Pants & Sweatshirts are frowned upon in the Cage.

A late good morning to everyone!

Two Thirds, none of those resigning is an X42 holdover. There were only two people from the previous administration: George Tenet (already gone) and Norm Mineta (now in transportation).

The five resigning cabinet members are Ann Venneman, Spence Abraham, Colin Powell, John Ashcroft, and Rod Paige. Ashcroft and Venneman have health problems, Powell only wanted to serve one term, Paige is getting up in years, and Abraham hasn't been very effective. Mineta is still there, but I think he is fairly innocuous, except for the PC stuff on profiling plane passengers.

I am interested to see who will get these positions. Gonzalez and Rice are filling two important positions, and they are very loyal to the President. I wonder who will get the other three jobs?

Good Morning All.

Roomey had MSNBC on at 0300. Chris Mathews was shooting his mouth off about a Marine who shot a "wounded Arab". Was Chris there to take the wounded's pulse, did he see the wounds of this wounded Arab? Did any of the MSM, besides the fellow who shot the footage, where the actual shooting was NOT shown, there to witness the "horrid" event. Of course the beheadings of hostages, including Americans and women, are ok, as long as it's done by the Arabs, cause they are doing it against America's "uncalled for invasion" of Iraq. The pressitutes of this nation are the real enemies of America, anything that can be found to belittle, or accuse Americans of anything is fodder for their Anti-American propaganda machine. The presstitutes of this nation really make my blood boil. The presstitutes who have served our nation can be counted on one hand with fingers left over, yet they have the audacity to blame our military for any and all faults, crimes, imbecility and whatever they can lay their tongues too. I really dislike presstitutes.

Have to rush because of an appointment but have a prayer request.

About 2:00 last night we got a call from one of our employees, Paula, a supervisor. Her husband, Eric, is a truck driver. Last night he was in an accident .... he's in a trauma unit in Camden, NJ .... both legs are badly broken, one was probably going to be amputated. He was at a truck stop and was hit as a pedestrian.

Paula and her 2 kids (older teenager and early 20s) were going to be leaving to drive up there ... about a 10 hour trip.

Paula was, understandably, distraught when I talked with her. She's got a million thoughts tumbling around in her head, not the least of which is that Eric won't have a job when he recovers. We won't hear from her until later today. I'm not sure when they were going to try to get away but don't expect to hear anything until she has arrived, seen Eric, and gotten settled in somewhere.

Please pray for Eric, his medical staff, and for Paula (especially for peace and strength for her).

Bit ~~~ I don't suppose you're familiar with the Camden area so could provide tips on places to stay, etc.?

I have a friend who served on the first transition team,, he's told stories about floating names,, just to stroke egos,, and to keep a smoke screen up to defuse what's really going on.

I agree completely.

Floating names to stroke egos has been going on since Thomas Jefferson's first term.

Thomas J floated a lot of names in order to defeat Aaron Burr in the electoral college. A lot of those names sunk once Jefferson was safely elected President.

Have you noticed the 'media'(?) already trying to trash C. Rice? Little sly remarks here, a few there. It is going to get worse.

Prayers for Eric, Paula and the boys. Bless her heart, I can just imagine the horror she's going through, not really knowing anything for sure.
