Zot Up The Union (Red State Yanks Are So Frightfully Uncivilised!)
A 100% American bloke, very likely called Nigel.

Clearly, those of us in the thinking part of the country are at odds with the red(neck) states. Why not formalise the irreconcilable differences between us by having a go at sovereignty? That way, we can rejoin the civilised world, and you can create your Taliban-style theocracy that you so obviously desire.

Why not shake hands and part ways now?You can go but leave your state behind. If your state legislature votes to secede, you can join your state militia and try to keep your sovereignty. Until then, any violent action you take makes you a crazed anarchist...pinhead.

Sounds fine...but we Americans claim Pennsylvania. Leave that Commonwealth peaceably and there won't be trouble there. I can't speak for the other States; that's up to them.
To: BlueStateLiberal
The red counties in the blue states might have their own opinion about this. Take a look at New York State for example. Cede a few northern counties to Canada and give NYC to New New England and I see a card-carrying member of Red Nation as a result. When the denizens of the big cities take a close look at their neighbors, I'd imagine the flight to safety would be something to behold. Meanwhile, Red Nation is watching "John Carpenter's Escape from New York" and taking notes. Lee Van Cleef is rumored to be Red Nation's Homeland Security chief.

Who would feed you, or provide you with homes or clothing? You folks can't afford to do these things yourself.

Just to echo what others have said, let's do it by county....

With all the liberals talk about seccession, is it now OK for us to question your patriotism?

I've got no problem with that. You guys go away. Just leave your passport at the airport.

Perhaps the best solution would be a county by county vote. That way the rest of Pennsylvania would not have to follow Philadelphia into obscurity for example. It might be difficult for you communicating across the red territories from city-state to city-state.

Why don't you leave?
Or, you 'blue' states could secede, and like Abe Lincoln did, we'll come kick your a$$ and make you see the benefits of staying in the Union. You know, preserve the Union?
But remember, there are a lot of 'red' people in the blue states, and they may not be up for secession. They may want to just moveon and live their lives.
But otherwise, I'm not going anywhere, in case you forgot, we won.
Bwahahahahaha!!!
