Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A new road or a secret gate...

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 | Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 | Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

So far I am thinking they could have done a much better job on the Inuyasha anime... for one thing I don't like his voice. Some of the timing is a bit off. Naruto suffers badly from the manga-to-anime timing issues. Ever notice how they seem to have lots of time to talk even when something is happening that should interrupt them? manga time... kinda annoying really. don't mind my lecturing... beer makes me talkative....er typative?
To: JenB
Yeah, it is more of a'bent' or 'focus' than a theme.

To: TalonDJ
It gets silly when, as in Naruto, you spend a whole episode standing around talking at your opponent instead of fighting him. Ninja? Bah.

Ok, gonna go read for a while.

my family seems to keep a nice positive computer-to-human ratio.Well, there are six of us in the house right now with 10 computers among us. Paul and David set up their PCs in the basement so they could play "World of Warcraft" into the night without disturbing the rest of us with their chatter on headphones. They wanted a computer to be able look things up without disturbing their game, and Paul didn't want to haul his laptop up and down the stairs, so they put another computer together to use in the basement from parts SSQ had up in his office!

    Good Mornin!

Sounds like us. I have my mother's computer hostage att. It is sitting on the floor in the gameroom. My computer is on the desk in the gameroom. elf-boy's is on a bench, also in the gameroom. PE has a laptop and a desktop in his office. Then we have the inards of two more computers that have been called to eternal rest.

Good morning! I gotta go take stuff to the dump in a minute here...stalling because it's -1 out there. And THEN, I have to do one last shopping trip. Still haven't figured out what on earth to get for Stephen. What does a 16 year old boy want? That's buyable, that is...
*sigh*
And he's just about my favorite bother, if I had to admit to a favorite. So I want to get him something good! Already ruled out music and books, which doesn't leave much.

    Thanks!

Good morning!

I will be leaving between an hour and an hour and a half from now. I've done everything, all that's left is the wait.
