Yeah, but I want to know about that incident Connie Chung had with Connie Chung. Details please. I have had position on this issue. I voted for the Connie Chung incident before I voted against the Connie Chung incident. And I have a plan, but I won't know what it is myself until I find out what the situation is.

I hope everyone reads this entire thread and gets their facts straight before they make fools of themselves.
On another note about E.D, I heard her tell Bill O'Reilly that Kerry would never come on his show because Kerry is a coward. HA!

I can't stand to watch her, but then again, I remember her from her early days as the anchor of WPXI News with "Edye Tarbox and Mike Hambrick"...simply one of the worst local newscasts ever assembled.

IMO there is both a good and a bad FOX...the alternatives in the TeeVee medium are so dreadful for a huge segment of the viewing audience there is only 1 choice, FOX. But Fox is still not perfect and never will be. That's the bad, the good is that FOX has opened a lot of eyes to the contrast of Old vs New media. It also has illuminated a very large underserved TV market. That market, like talk radio has, will develop and the galaxy of choices will expand to serve the demand.

Looks like they reached a consensus. Maybe it is an apt description.Sometime last year, my youngest daughter, 12, asked me what a b***h was. One of her "friends" had called her that. (I know, I know.. some friend.) Hillary had just been on some news program, and I had made some disgusted noise, and hit the mute button. I said, "some people call Hillary that."

The real issue before us is whether or not Barbara Bush would call Hillary Clinton a bitch.Actually, Barbara Bush said Geraldine Ferraro is something that rhymes with "rich".
She was indicating that she thought that Ferraro was a bitch, but would not say it.
(Mrs. Bush was being quite polite because Ferraro is, in fact, a bitch. IMHO)

Your right she is an idiot. Additionally it is very tacky for a woman to go by her first two intials.

E.D. Hill--easy on the eyes, hard on the ears
I've been watching F&F for about 5 years now and the impression of E.D. I get is that she's a conservative, but tries WAY TOO HARD to be "fair". Plus, sometimes she gets absorbed in her own self righteousness.

ED Hill is a mother of 9 children and one of the most articulate women on FOX news. We generally like her around here. I think "we" think she seems nice enough but isn't the brightest bulb in the Fox chandelier.

You are correct. I heard her make the comment too and knew it was not Barbara Bush who said it.

Which means that Steve and Brian get to hang out with...
Lauren, or Kiran, or Juliet.
Now, this is no offense to ED, but after having seen Lauren and Kiran in 'the chair', so to speak, I like 'em better (especially Lauren. Smart, beautiful, and a beautiful voice). It's not that she's gone down in my estimation, it's that Lauren and Kiran are better, in my opinion.
Lauren's just plain classy, IMHO.

But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou her maid art far more fair than she:

Whether it happened or not, what was the point in telling this? Make it fair and balance by telling something that happened 20 years ago? What Theresa said has nothing to do with what Barbara said. It's like saying, "yes, what Theresa said was wrong, but let me tell you what Barbara Bush did." Apples and oranges.

I did. I'm just going by this part of the thread's begining post:
She said that Connie Chung asked Barbara Bush what she thought of Geraldine Ferraro and Barbara Bush said she couldnt say it. Connie Chung said to whisper it in her ear and then Connie repeated that it rhymed with "Witch".
The incident that I recall about Chung suggesting that someone, "Just whisper it," in her ear was with Newt's Mother. Thusfar, no one has posted that there was such an incident of whispering between Chung and Barbara Bush.
