Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

YUCK is right! I feek the same way whenever I see Betty "Commie" Castor campaign commercials here in Florida.
She's running against Mel Martinez for Senate.

Eh, doing all right. Sorry about stealing it out from under you, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up. ;)
Reading a fantasy story set at a Con... hmmm, it's rather vulgar, but very funny.

Bear, can you explain to me the fascination at FR with pancakes on the heads of rabbits?
Vulgar and funny sounds like a potentially good read. What is it?

What story?
I'm considering bed shortly... since I have a test tomorrow and I don't have an anime or a book I'm in the middle of currently.

can you explain to me the fascination at FR with pancakes on the heads of rabbits?Well, near as I can figure, someone somewhere found a picture of a rabbit with a pancake on his head, and posted it with the legend "I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a picture of a rabbit with a pancake on his head."
The rabbit in question actually belonged to a Japanese guy, who liked to put things on his pet rabbit's head and then take pictures of it, as explained by this site here.

Mmmm. That recipe for the Halfacuppa Crap made my mouth water. I'm gonna use natural crunchy peanut butter in mine!

Well... Sam, I'm not sure how well the story will play to a non-fan, it was written by a fan for other fans. And Jen, you might not like it for various reasons. So... I may regret this, but
here it is.

I'm guessing there's an image there, but since it's hosted on the-hobbit-hole.net, I can't see it. (sigh) I really don't want to call RoadRunner, but I may have to.

The bunny thing is Japanese? I should have known! 90% of weird internet fads can be traced back to Japan. "All Your Base"... remember "yatta"?
Darn, that site you linked has some great Engrish signs. I might not get to the short story tonight...
