Cybill Shepard arrived to tape a British chat show -- as I gather they are called, thanks to my extensive reading of Brit Lit -- looking like she was auditioning for the role of Red Riding Hood in a Christmas pantomime. If Red Riding Hood were, say, extremely weather-beaten from her trip to Grandmother's house. Regardez:

When questioned, Ms. Shepherd, who, according to this account had already been in London for two entire days, claimed she had "jet lag hair," and took off her hood.
To reveal -- cover the eyes of any minors in the room, please!

Apparently she rode over on the wing of the plane.
WHICH married male network news veteran who specializes in foreign assignments has been having an affair with a female Columbia grad about 10 years younger than his daughter? Former classmates spotted the young woman with him at the Essex House more than once, and say he visited her at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville over the weekend . . .
I wonder if Teresa is bankrolling this effort:
THE adult film industry is hoping to pump up John Kerry's somewhat flaccid presidential campaign with "The Porn for Kerry DVD." Pro-Kerry group Pornforprogress.com is hawking the dirty disc, which has porn stars portraying the likes of Jenna Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Ann Coulter, Al Franken, Tom Ridge and Lyndie England. All proceeds from the DVD, tastefully described as "part political satire and part hardcore hot sex," go toward Kerry campaign efforts in swing states.
We wish you had, too, Miss Lillian:
"WHEN I look at my children, sometimes I wish I remained a virgin." the late Lillian Carter, mother of Jimmy Carter, as quoted by White House reporter Helen Thomas at the N.Y. Women in Communications breakfast at '21' . . .

Just when you think you've heard it all.
Bill and Hillary Clinton and John Kerry are flying on Kerry's wife's private jet. Bill looks at Hillary, chuckles and says, "You know, I could throw a $100.00 bill out he window right now and make somebody very happy."
Hillary shrugs her shoulders and says, "Well, I could throw ten 10.00 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy."
Kerry says, "Of course then, I could throw one hundred $1.00 bills out the window and make a hundred people very happy."
The pilot rolls his eyes, looks at all of them and says to his co-pilot, "I could throw all of them out the window and make this whole country happy!"
It's spooky how much we all think alike. I was thinking the same thing about Breitweiser and Edwards because every time I see Edwards these days Breitweiser is tagging along beside him. And come to think of it, that's the first time I've ever seen her smile (in the pic you posted).
It's hard to disparage a widow whose husband died so horrifically but Breitweiser shows no shame in her partisanship, blaming President Bush not only for her imagined foot dragging on intelligence, but also blaming him for not doing enough to thwart the 9/11 attacks. The name clinton never passes her lips. Does she not know that FAA special agents tried to alert Kerry to problems at Logan International months before 9/11? Kerry ignored their reports and then tried to take credit for the investigation the agents did after 9/11.
Only a entrenched democrat could look at the record of who did what and say that Kerry and Edwards will keep us safer.
I really, really, really don't like Breitweiser and I'm grateful that Debra Burlingame, a much more insightful woman, is on our side.
The Hotline is a subscription publication so I'll see if I can find some literature on the subject that you can use.
Seems like this was not her first choice or even her second choice. Oh well,,,,
" Stewart had asked to serve her five-month sentence at the federal prison in Danbury, Conn., close to her home in Westport, or as a second choice at the federal prison in Coleman, Fla.
The Alderson Federal Prison Camp, is seen, June 6, 2004, in Alderson, W.Va. The prison was the nation's first all women's institution when it opened in 1927, three years before the Federal Bureau of Prisons was established. The camp spans 105 acres of rolling hills in both Monroe and Summers counties.
"Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson joined the campaign of Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) on Wednesday as a poll showed support for the presidential candidate slipping among black Americans, a critical Democratic constituency."
How To Clean Your Toilet - The Fun Way
Instructions on how to clean your toilet
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.
Sincerely,
The Dog
Stolen - thanks for the visual.
