Several years back a couple of young teens burglarized several houses near my place in the mountains. To compound the crime, they thought it neat to burn down the houses after the burglaries. They were eventually caught but not before several families had lost everything.

Sure is a good thing that they can't be taught in school that certain behaviors are unacceptable to God, isn't it? < /SARCASM >

I was switching between the Wisonsin game, the Purdue game, and the Auburn game in the afternoon. Watched enough to believe Auburn deserves #1 ranking, or at worst #2. I hope they don't get frozen out like USC did last year.

Oklahoma and Texas both deserve to be bumped out of the top ten.

Total poseurs with soft schedules.

$20.......or Mo's lawyers will come to discuss those typos.

Oh no, Mo, not again. Maybe it would just be cheaper in the long run to keep Mike away from plumbing repairs?

When I once lived in an apartment, I was robbed twice...once when I was away and once when I was upstairs sleeping. I woke up and heard noises, but I thought it was just my silly cat opening cabinet doors as she liked to do. Weeks later, the police caught three or four teenagers that lived in the apartment complex.

This is a fact about those who are converted to communism and the Bible idnetifies it!

Right is wrong and wrong is right!

I wish the confusion would STOP!

A deciever is always a deciever,
wrong will always be wrong,
and right will always be right!

Our Public Servants and Media refuses to call it by its name!

No wants to be call a liberal it is like the kiss of death!

Years ago the poison word was Progressive for John Dewey who took character out of school and replaced it....

John Dewey is recognized as the Father of modern education. The N.E.A. gave him high recognition for his works. Much of his changes to schools was made possible by the theory of evolution being so strongly accepted after the writings of Charles Darwin. John Dewey wrote a theory of education and democracy that was based on evolution.

What is obvious is that all those who brought into the NEA propaganda and education have beacome infiltrated in various avenuse of our Government as well as world grovernments!

These Marist people praise one another no matter how wicked their deeds are, and the rest of thoes in the world that are moral is enemy!

I hope the landlady kicks these people out. I've been ill at ease ever since they moved there, especially knowing the history. There is also a protective services case on them, although I am not the caseworker. I try to avoid cases that are in close proximity.

When Tyler is here this summer, I'm going to have to seek out children and grandchildren of co-workers or something for him to play with. I wouldn't allow him to play with any of the kids around here. I'm not saying that there are no good kids around here. There may be, but I do know there are a lot of disrespectful ones.

... they can't be taught in school

Wouldn't want to offend the tender sensibilities of young minds sl. Besides, who are we to say what's right and wrong for them? Shouldn't they just be allowed to do whatever feels good*, even if it means taking the property and destroying the lives of others?

* of course, this does not include truly radical and destructive behavior such as praying and playing dodgeball.

Sad to say, there are WAY too few consequences for delinquent behavior here. If they do much of anything at all, it seems that they just slap an ankle monitor on them and charge the parents for the "privilege." Even inconvenient adults get away with just about anything. I know, because I deal with some of the criminal offenders. You can never count on them going away. I've got one mom that is on her umpteenth drug offense and putting her kids at risk...to the tune of serving 20 years, and they simply released her from jail because she had hepatitis C and they weren't "equipped to deal with it." So now she's in "drug court," a 3 strikes and you do your time program. She's already had strike 2 in less than 2 months.

I have another case where a 13 year old girl has been sexually perped on by at least 2 "adult" men. One of them confessed and got 15 years....and is walking the street because they "don't have any place to put him." The other wasn't even charged because "he didn't confess."

It is a sick world. Where is the deterrent to crime?

"of course, this does not include truly radical and destructive behavior such as praying and playing dodgeball."

Yes, it is truly a miracle that WE survived, having grown up with all those terrible dangers, not to mention the constant exposure to second hand smoke and being subjected to riding in vehicles without car seats. Yet, we were so ignorant, we didn't even realize how abusive our parents were. How fortunate we are that these liberals came along in time to prevent yet another generation from being subjected to such horrendous atrocities! < /sarcasm >

I'd like to see USC and Auburn play for it all. I think that USC is the stronger team but it would be an interesting game. Having passed through Auburn a few times, I think that would be a good place for a kid to attend college: Kind of sleepy but with a great school spirit, good academics and a town that overwhelmingly supports the school.

That football game featuring Auburn's small town red state working types versus USC's Los Angeles blue state media poster boys would be interesting.

JIMMY CARTER AND WALTER MONDALE!

Walter Mondale signed HUMANIST MANIFESTO II
Thank God Reagan won!

HUMANIST MANIFESTO
John Dewey was a signer of the Humanist Manifesto. Many give him credit for writing most of it.

Humanism would have men be their own gods. Humanism would make everything relative to what the individual perceives as improvement or detriment. Humanism denies the Salvation of God and replaces it with salvation by men.

I am still puzzled why this knowledge falls on death ears each time it is brought to light it like most folks just could careless!

Mike was trying to replace the faucets in the girls bathroom and well they wouldn't come off the sink

Bet he forgot that old plumber's rule, "lefty loosey, righty tighty." Not knowing that has given many a would-be plumber the opportunity to purchase a new sink.

It would appear that "fixing" plumbing is not Mike's forte.

Yet, we were so ignorant, we didn't even realize how abusive our parents were.

How true! Why sometimes they even spanked us and sent us off to bed without supper after washing our mouths out with soap. Often they had the nerve to actually visit our school to spy on us and to talk with our teachers. How embarrassing for us. I only wish that we had been able to sue them for mental cruelty and extreme anguish and invasion of privacy. Additionally, instead of believing our fibs, they would almost always accept the word of any neighbor who claimed that we were getting into trouble.

Thank Heaven that such parental cruelty is no longer permitted.

Yes, and teachers and parents used to actually be in cahoots, working together to see that children were trained to be civilized people and proper citizens. Now, teachers have become state appointed snitches mandated reporters of suspected child "maltreatment", diagnosticians of "mental" disorders and general underminers of proper parental authority and teaching.
