You're welcome
I emailed that link along with the article about Jimmy Carter praising Arafat
Awesome - I'm going over - thanks!
The illegals would be stupid to register and then start having to pay for everything that they're getting for free today.
Wouldn't they?
Thanks. I just loooooove the morons who assert that people who supported Bush are stupid. A. It's wrong. B. As a strategy to garner more votes next time around, it's a loser.
So, who's stupid?
Always!
*chuckle*
Welcoem.
He hasn't been zotted yet.
AND he stupidly made teh "No WMD's found in Iraq" claim to ME.
*Evil laughter*
He doesn't seem to know that there have been chemical weapons found.
This is too much fun. I am only on #115, but am reading each post. I love the comments about how we have the food and the guns. My favorite sniper kitty is in #28.
I stepped away for a bit and Nigel the Pretend American from the UK got the zot..
Zot threads can be so fun, and I love the Viking Kitty photos!
I thiink the soft spot is for the Mexican people!
So someday they can get a government for and by the People!
They know who they are they are working here and would get kicked off the program!
Have any of you cooks ever soaked your Thanksgiving turkey in a brine the day before cooking?
Have any of you cooks ever soaked your Thanksgiving turkey in a brine the day before cooking?
***
Why would one do that?
It is not a pickle!
It makes them moist. I was going to try it this year, but I'm not having Thanksgiving at my house.
No, but you are. LOL
I have some instructions fro brining a turkey, but I don't have them right at hand. It didn't look too difficult, and involves using large roasting bags rather than buckets (which is what was recommended in previous instructions I'd seen). I'll post later if you still don't have any information from anyone by the time I can find the instructions. Didn't look to hard, and I was considering trying it this year, but I'm not having Thanksgiving at my house this year.
So will basting and much more favorable!
Nesco cookers are the specialty for Roasting juice birds!
Thanks for the info. I have looked up some methods but was wanting to know if someone who had cooked or tasted a brined turkey could tell the difference.
Are going to be cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner this year? There will be just five of us, but I always try to cook the customary dishes. My grandchildren are so traditional, they ask why the sweet potatoes were not served in the same bowl as last year. LOL
Is your turkey a wild one?
If so, it would prolly benefit from a nice soaking.
Otherwise, no.
