Lovely, normal Thai stir-fry-ish stuff. It's cooked in yellow goo that reminds me of all sorts of unpleasant things, but it tastes so good. And it can be spicy enough to make you cry...

David called tonight and told me about the orientation for new PhD, and Masters students. In walks the coordinator of the event with 20 pizzas! There were 25 students there. She was appalled cause she had planned for 40 students. She then sent an e-mail to all the faculty and any students who were around telling them to come meet the new students and have some pizza. David said it was like locusts descending on the food! A friend of his had hoped to abscond with one of the pizzas, but there were only three or four pieces left!
SSQ got Clare a Video Editing package for Christmas. I'll ask him in the morning what it is, and I'll let you know.

I think it's reading to them that does it. I read to both my boys all the time, especially the old (1930s) Hardy boys. Makes for a more fleshed-out vocabulary.

*snif* I had military friends that I miss a lot. Mostly I hung out with a young couple who had one little boy, and then a second while I was there. They were like older siblings...wish I hadn't lost track.
