Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I like both versions of Sabrina...but I think I actually prefer the second. Harrison Ford does a great job!
I think I'm gonna go read for a bit.

Wanna see you with your hair pulled back and your cute li'l hat and your neatly tied white stock! I'll bet you looked adorable! I have precious few pictures of me showing. I wish there were more, particularly showing my stallion, I don't have any on him in the show ring.
But I have this one. Not dressage, but hunter, on my half-Arab mare, probably 15 years old... ;~D

I don't wanna know...I don't get CMT. *snif*
Maybe it'll be put out on DVD eventually, though! And there are a number of bluegrass / oldtime / folk music fans on the library staff at the college, so if it DID get put out...could be they'd get it!

Not having seen the whole thing, I prefer the second one too. Although Audrey Hepburn was very pretty.

Do you have a recent Overstreet guide? I'm trying to find the price for "Dark Shadows" (1969-1976) #10.

15 years old? You or the mare? *wink* Or the picture? ;~D
I think ~I~ am probably 15 years old in the picture. The mare was probably about 7.

If I were to want to look like an actress, it'd be her. She's beautiful in a good, clean way.
