I woke up this morning to rumbling thunder and a gentle rain. I could hardly stay awake, even after I'd been up a little while. I wanted so bad to crawl back in bed. Perfect sleeping weather. We've had rain off and on throughout the day. We really needed it.

"An event he described on the senate floor as being "seared --- seared in his memory" is now being called a, "Mistaken Recollection". There's really a simple explanation. It was seared in his memory....right before he forgot where he'd been. In other words, he was there, right before he wasn't.

"We need a webcam for Catpuppy's beach." I think a catpuppy cam would be more amusing. We'd still get to see plenty of the beach.

"I would have been more sensitive, and would have reached out ..... IOW, I'm late for my racketball date, let Kofi and Jacques handle it." In other words, it's kinda along the same order of, "I would have shown up in the senate for all those votes if I hadn't been busy trying to convince the little people that I am imminently qualified for a bigger job that I could avoid showing up for."

LOL. I tried but some things are simply beyond my ability to deal with and this is one of those. Very sad case but self inflicted, it seems to me.
