I'm doing exceptionally well. Even though you know who slept on my couch last night, ugh. Says he is getting an annulment. ugh. I told him he could stay for the night but that was all. I don't know where he is now. Wherever he is, he gets weirder every day.

Oh dear! An annulment huh? Weirder is right. Reckon he can do that? (if he hasn't changed his mind already)

Jason is okay. He has elected not to have the surgery at this time after all. He just wants prayer for healing. We were concerned but we are respecting his wishes and praying.

It was more than just awesome. lol

I communed with God very much, and nature, and, oh yeah, Dwight Yoakam. Sat out on a slab in the Badlands with a HUUUUgh full moon and prayed my rosary, over-looking some beautiful wonder. It was everything my heart desired, and much that my soul needed.

Stopped a while in Sturgis, too btw. fun

I am glad you had fun and refreshing. That country in pretty refreshing to the soul to me too! I much prefer it outside bike week myself. Too beautiful for words huh?

How was work today, Rose?

I went shopping! Went to the dollar store and got kitchen things. All very cheap, but I'm gonna be a starving grad student. And plastic's plastic.

Now I'm going to work on finishing the packing. I think tonight I'll box up my Heinlein's... better have a glass of wine before I do that, though.

He was awesome too. The first venue was out in the middle of nowhere, like the surface of the moon, and a lunar bubble of a casino. The stage a small platform in the back with our lawnchairs around it, and very up close and personal. The second event was up in North Dakota, about an 8 hr drive up, through some really beautiful stuff, and crisp clear air like I'm not used to at all. got chapped lips pretty bad. Big big casino, and far high up stage. But we had front row at that one too. sigh...
