Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
lol..."Voted 'Most Punctual' in the 2003 Church Yearbook!"
That sounds interesting. Where did you find it?
"He eats no fruit."
Hmmm--not even in sugar-coated cereal? That's another way to sneak it in :)
Yep! Might be fun to go back there for NEXT 4th of July weekend. Bring Margaret this time around.
See #2719 above...forgot to ping ya.
Yeah, it's possible, I just would love to be able to eat normal food and not gain weight.
I get it at Walmart in the coffee section.
As any genteel Southern lady might! ;o)
I never camped in my life until SSQ and I had been married almost 7 yrs! We'd always had our 'fishing camp', so that was as rustic as I ever got. Wasn't THAT bad, because we had indoor plumbing, radio, etc., just no TV until the year I was a junior in high school!
I couldn't find it locally. I ordered another flavor from here:

But I'm sure it's cheaper to buy at Wal-Mart if you can get it there!
"We pick our own! $2 a pound. We went last Sat and picked a little over 3 pounds worth. I'm been baking muffins and freezing them. And then Joshua, well...he puts a big dent in them. He practically sits and crams them in his mouth."
LOL! I used to do that with apple picking :)
I also want to grow some blackberries. As a kid at my grandma's house she had some growing in the backyard, so we'd just go out and pick 'em and eat 'em right there :)
"Chicken is cheap...so are beans, on sale vegetables, eggs..."
Is rice allowed in Atkins?
"lol..."Voted 'Most Punctual' in the 2003 Church Yearbook!""
Voted Most Likely to Be at Church on Time :)
Yep, we picked blackberries a couple a weeks or so ago. They were real buggy though...I literally had to wash them in soapy water to get rid of the bugs. Joshua (of course) just put them away, but after I saw all the bugs, I couldn't eat them.
Made Steve a pie, though. We a pecan meal crust.
I think brown rice is, during pre-maintenance and maintenance...ever now and then and carefully...also, wild rice, which is higher fiber and has more nutrients. When we eat rice, that's what we intend to eat...we'd eat it so rarely that the price wouldn't be a factor.
Steve and I are both in pre-maintenance.
Brown rice might be allowed in the latest stages...I can't remember.
I can have it on South Beach, and in general I think South Beach is similar to the later phases of Atkins, except for the emphasis on low fat meats and dairy.
A little brown rice, maybe. Rice is high in carbs.
I think South Beach allows more "healthy" carbs than Atkins.
Yeah, I think you're right. Even in Phase 1 you can have beans and aren't limited on vegetables. It's not really low-carb.
See, I don't like most healthy carbs, so Atkins is more my style. I do have a brocoli weakness, of course.

You didn't tell him there were bugs in it, right?--LOL! :) Seriously, minus the bugs, that sounds good! I had a blueberry pie for the 4th of July--mmmm. . .
