Oh, I guess it's not so bad. It's just annoying, especially because there really isn't an alternative route. And the new *&$#ing bridge they're building will actually do nothing for traffic except make it worse... it engenders a little bitterness for those of us that are essentially having a toll-booth put on our driveways.

Fireworks are always good!
Yesterday was "interesting." My neighbors were really having a good time. I mean, they seemed VEY happy people. Somewhat intoxicated maybe - but happy! They fired up their grille and cooked hot dogs in the late afternoon and then decided to try out all kinds of fireworks in their grille. Was amusing.... from my side of the fence. They have a new grille tonight. LOL

They are putting in a whole nother bridge to add an HOV lane. That's it.... two lanes, same as we got now, and an HOV lane.
Now. If you are going to go to the trouble to build a bridge a mile long couple hundred feet high, that will take years to build, wouldn't you splurge a little and make it wide enough to plan for expansion?
Everyone within 20 miles of it voted against it.... so they expanded the voting radius to include the surrounding counties to get enough votes. People that never drive it approved it.... sounded like a good idea to them....
