Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Unless Dumbledore's lying, which could be - certainly he's telling Harry the truth at a convenient time...Nah, I think Dumbledore believes he's right, it's just that giving it some thought, it could go either way.
Good Smeagol's not listening! :)

my dad's sister's kids are like that.
My aunt has blue eyes, her hubby has brown eyes. The two oldest have light blue, the third has brown, and the others have greenish.
Funny, though blue eyes are generally considered recessive, in our family it has become dominant. One of my Frantz cousins said to me, oh so *your* line is the blue eyed line. She explained to me that there was one line of Frantz's living in Coplay that had blue eyes. Hmmm, yep, has to be us. Granddaddy had blue eyes, and so did his brothers, and they were from Coplay.

Amazing! Got any pictures???Yeah, I'll have to scan a couple to see how they turn out. I'll try that later one tonight when I have more time to work on them.
Going to the Orientation for Joseph's high school tonight. We're familiar with the school; it's the same one Paul and David attended. It's a great school, and I know he'll do well.
It just amazes me that my baby boy is starting high school next year. Where HAS the time gone?

I used to tease them that I was 'special' because of that.My older brother used to tease me about my brown eyes (his were hazel)... he used to say they meant I was full of **** clean up to my eyebrows...

Hmmm--I may be forced to resort to dirty tricks and pull out my old D&D Players Handbook--I did used to be Dungeon Master, you know. . .Finite Incantatem! :)

Try rolling for initiative and use Spell of Holding/ Bind.
(Depending on who wrote the adventure scenario.)
Make sure you have high resistance to suggestion though.
