Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Sorry doll.
I had a GYN once that had posters on the ceiling with cute phrases on them.... like the cat hanging from the branch saying "WHY ME?"

It's gonna be Harry, remember the ending of OotP?Yeah, but remember, Dumbledore said that the prophecy could have been either of the two. Just cause one was marked, physically, doesn't mean it HAS to be that one. The other one has been marked emotionally from seeing his parents in the state they're in. Old Voldy coulda made a big mistake. Could be a devious plot twist a comin!
One never knows, does one?

Reminds me of being one of only four men in a class of 26 in school.
The rest of the class including the teacher were female.
Guess what most subjects of conversation were?

A hot foot soak prior in the evening prior to getting married would seem to be a very relaxing thing though...don't you think? Absolutely! And having a toenail-painting party sounds like fun, too!

No, Voldy 'marked him as his equal', remember?
I just reread this two days ago. It's definitely Harry. Unless Dumbledore's lying, which could be - certainly he's telling Harry the truth at a convenient time...

Peaceful and quiet is good...better than partying hardy by a long shot! LOLThe night before I got married was my younger sister's 21st birthday. We DID party at my big brother's house, doing the electric slide and all kinds of stuff until about 1am when I went home, tossed my wedding dress into the washing machine, then the dryer, touched up the capelet with the iron and went to bed. (This was the 70's and easy care, polyester satin was all the rage). The sisters were out until about 3. Had to get up about 8:30 to get hair done, and my two younger sisters were a little bleary eyed under the dryers!

Unless Dumbledore's lying, which could be - certainly he's telling Harry the truth at a convenient time...Nah, I think Dumbledore believes he's right, it's just that giving it some thought, it could go either way. The prophecy wasn't attached to Harry until after Voldy attacked him, remember? I'm just saying that not all 'marks' are physical and visible. Just musing...

True, it's possible. However, I don't think it's likely, the text seems pretty clear.
Interesting thought - don't want to say it out straight or certain people will be unhappy - that thing that happened with Neville's parents? Maybe it was because Voldy's followers knew about the prophecy in some distorted way, maybe it wasn't random...
