Was it good except for the sour note? The nerves must be wound as tight as it gets for both of them.

That's an interesting observation; I sure don't hear much from Rueben lately.

Aaaw, Diana is a cutie and I could just feel her cringe. Bless her young heart. :)

I still prefer Diana over all the "yeah, yeah, yeah"'s I'm so sick of hearing from Fantasia! (And really am miffed at the judges doing a Ruben thing w/Fantasia!)

It was "Don't Cry Out Loud," which she nailed last week; she should have left it at that and picked another song.
Then Simon said that she must have heard Fantasia sing Summertime and she went overboard. Hmmmmm.....

Well, I really don't think these performances are a make-it-or-break-it thing for voting fans. My guess is that most minds were made up before the show began.
To: Howlin
I predict that that Diana will do with Don't Cry Out Loud what Clay's done with Solitaire. ;)

I'm tired of Fantasia's voice too, and going for Diana. I especially like that Diana dresses like a 16 year-old, not sleazy.

The best part is when it's over. What a waste of airtime.

I don't think it hurt her, people have already made up their minds.

I agree. Diana has a tremendous appeal and seems so genuine.

In case you didn't know, Paula's sling, thumb bandage, etc. were because she got cut during a manicure and it got infected. She had to have her thumbnail surgically removed, and is suing the salon that did it to her.

Fantasia's crying when she was done was a little too much for me. I mean, I know she's happy, but that seemed a little fakey to me.
